For a day at the seaside Totland and Colwell have sandy bays within 1.5 miles or you can take a short drive across the island to the more traditional seaside resorts of Shanklin Ventnor or Sandown (all within 21 miles). Compton Bay with its dinosaur footprints and fossils is nearby and a must for history lovers as well as those who like to be in the water (4 miles). Nature lovers will also enjoy the variety of plants and animals at Afton Marsh a Site of Special Scientific Interest (1.5 miles). Enter through the front gate and proceed down the pretty garden path to the front door. Upon entering you ll find yourself in the dining room of this beautiful cottage. Make your way through to the comfortable lounge which is ideal for snuggling up in front of the Smart TV on one of the comfortable sofas. Return to the open-plan kitchen/diner and you ll discover a well-equipped space with everything you could possibly need to prepare some delicious meals for your stay as well as a dining table with seating for four where you can sit and enjoy your meals together.
