If you feel like a day at the beach Freshwater East can be reached in just 4 miles by car. You can join the coastal path from here if you enjoy hiking. Freshwater East to Manorbier is 4 miles along the path or head in the opposite direction for Stackpole Quay and out to the Bosherston Lily Ponds and Barafundle Bay.
