The area is perfect for outdoor pursuits; you can hire a rowing boat kayak Canadian canoe pedalo stand up paddleboard or fishing boat and have fun on Llangorse Lake the largest natural lake in South Wales along with activities including climbing mountain biking and horse riding throughout the area (3 miles). For slower-paced days there are some lovely market towns such as Hay-on-Wye the town of books Crickhowell and Brecon all within a 13.5-mile radius of the property. The cottage is situated along a peaceful country lane enjoying a rural location with enclosed gardens overlooking the Black Mountains. Guests benefit from the traditional porch to the rear of the cottage which provides the perfect space for muddy boots and coats after a day out and about. From here you will step into the kitchen well equipped with everything you may need for preparing meals during your stay. A doorway opens into the cosy lounge with low ceilings and original fireplace; here you can relax on the comfortable seating making the most of the Smart TV which also includes freesat selection of good books local information and board games. A generously sized garden room provides space for dining with a table suitable for six guests and additional seating where you can enjoy garden views. A cottage staircase offers access to the first floor where guests have the choice of three bedrooms all of which enjoy views across the countryside.
