Starfish Cottage is a homely and very well equipped holiday cottage in the sought after village of Weybourne. It is owned by Darren and Moya and their children, who just love to visit and get down to the beach. The house has parking outside and an enclosed garden, to the rear is a really lovely conservatory that is a perfect spot to sit and read. The sitting room is spacious and has the most comfortable reclining sofas, great for just chilling! The kitchen is recently fitted and very well equipped with everything you could need. There is a downstairs shower room and WC. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms, the master bedroom having a king sized bed. The second bedroom has a double, and there is a really handy single room with a full sized single bed. There is a family bathroom on this floor with an excellent shower. The cottage is situated in a quiet residential area. A perfect holiday cottage in Weybourne for all the family Weybourne is an old fishing village where you can still see the crab boats bring in their catch, the boats being hauled up onto the shingle beach. During the second World War the village was used as a listening base and you can still visit the famous Muckleburgh Collection and see the original radar and radio station along with the huge collection of military vehicles. There is a very interesting local history section with many photos of wartime in the village, very well worth a visit. You also have the North Norfolk Steam Railway right on your doorstep, Weybourne Station is on the Poppy Line and you can travel to Holt and Sheringham in style. The beach is shingle and steep but you have sandy beaches on your doorstep with West Runton, Sheringham and Cromer, to the east or Wells to the west. The walk along the cliff tops into Sheringham is beautiful and the views are magnificent, taking in Sheringham golf course on the way!
Pebble Beach , yes it IS named after the famous golf course, its owners, Bryan and Sally, being very keen golfers! The cottage is absolutely immaculately presented with comfortable furnishings and decor. The owners are constantly updating and improving the house, consequently it is very well maintained. Comfortable king sized beds with quality linen, Sky TV and a pretty enclosed garden. With the added bonus of being able to walk to Weybourne’s beach and the pub and village shop in just a few minutes, we think this house is pretty perfect. Oh and your dog is welcome too. Weybourne was once a favoured dropping off point for smugglers but today the only things landing on the beach are fishing boats delivering catch that you will find on the menu at the superb Ship Inn. Not much happens in this small laid-back village which is what makes it such a perfect destination for those seeking to get away from it all. A village store stocks all the basics but for more extensive supplies you will need to make the short three-mile drive to Sheringham. A traditional seaside town it features a beach of fine sand cliffs shops pubs and a steam railway that stops off at Weybourne on its route to the Georgian town of Holt. At the front of the house you enter through the front door into a lobby from where you can access the large lounge with comfortable leather sofas DVD and CD. French doors lead out to a pretty patio garden an electric flame effect fire. The contemporary kitchen/diner features lovely tiled flooring and includes a microwave and dishwasher as well as a chunky wooden dining table seating six. A utility room leading off the kitchen is equipped with a washing machine tumble dryer separate freezer and coat racks. The ground floor also has a separate shower room with WC and underfloor heating. The sitting room, which has plenty of comfortable seating, is open plan to the dining area at one end. A wood burner provides a cosy focus point for the cooler months. To the rear, bi-fold doors open up onto the patio with comfortable garden furniture. The garden is fully enclosed, so safe for your dog. The kitchen is sparkling and well equipped to include a large American fridge and freezer. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, all different, and beautifully designed with high end linen and towels. The garden is enclosed with the most comfortable garden furniture we have ever sat in! A short walk takes you to The Ship public house and the beach road. The Finches is a really fantastic holiday property in Weybourne, which even the most discerning of guests will enjoy. Weybourne is a sought after coastal village which is well served with public transport, the Coasthopper Bus, and is home to one of the stations of the Poppy Line Steam Railway. Weybourne has a village pub, The Ship, and a village deli/shop. Weybourne beach is about a 10/15 minute walk from the house. Sanderlings is an immaculately presented, single storey, holiday home Weybourne. Owned by Andrew and Susan it is their much loved holiday home. Sanderlings sleeps 6 guests in three really comfortable and beautifully presented bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room. The interiors are stylish with quality fittings, furnishings and linen throughout. The living space is a real surprise when you walk in, it is light and bright with glass roof lights and bi fold doors to really let the outside in. It is a sociable space with the kitchen to one side, bisected with an island. To the other side is the dining area making for great family meals and memories. The comfortable sofas give you the perfect view over the garden The kitchen is extremely well equipped with quality appliances including a coffee maker, and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. To the centre is an island with sink looking towards the garden. A separate utility room houses the washing machine. The main bedroom has a king size bed and views over the garden, plus and en suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are king size as well. The family bathroom has a double ended bath and a separate shower cubicle. To the rear the garden is enclosed, and mainly laid to lawn.
