You are well placed to explore enchanting Hamsterley Forest wonderful Weardale Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales National Park (20 miles). Admire the art collections at Bowes Museum and wander through gardens 17 miles from the cottage. Back at the treehouse treat yourselves to a light lunch in the popular on-site ice cream parlour followed by exquisite cake and mouth-watering ice cream.
