Reached via an 8-mile drive Bassenthwaite Lake is renowned for its stunning vistas and vast array of wildlife. Venturing into Keswick for a change of pace will reward you with eateries and shops in abundance as well as a popular family-run cinema and a theatre by the lake. Leave your coats and shoes in the stairwell and step into the lounge a comfortable room warmed by the wood burner situated in the feature fireplace with its slate hearth.
