About Heathfield

Heathfield is a semi-detached Lakeland house in Keswick with two bedrooms, a king and a double, each with its own en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom on top of that. Three bathrooms between two bedrooms is unusual, and it tells you something about how the house has been finished: comfortably, and with a mind to two couples travelling together rather than a crowd.

Downstairs there is a spacious lounge and living area with a large flat screen television, plus a separate dining room, so meals get their own space and the sofa stays a sofa. Living flame gas fires warm the rooms, with full gas central heating from a combi boiler behind them. The kitchen is contemporary and well equipped, with a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, washer dryer and fridge freezer.

The real draw is outdoors and just off it: a hot tub and a sauna, which together turn a wet Cumbrian afternoon into something to look forward to. There is a patio, garden to both the front and the rear, and a secure outdoor bike store for anyone riding while they are here. Towels and linen are included, and there is WiFi. The house takes guests of sixteen and over, which keeps the atmosphere calm, and it suits couples wanting somewhere to unwind properly after a long day out.
