Just outside Keswick is the 5 000-year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle (1 mile). The town is built on the shore of Derwentwater with Bassenthwaite Lake just 5 miles to the north. Other local attractions include Honister Slate Mine (9.5 miles) Surprise View (3.5 miles) the Bowder Stone (5.5 miles) and the Lake District Wildlife Park (8.5 miles). Several steps lead up and into this attractive house and its spacious hallway which leads you through to the fresh and airy main lounge.
