This tranquil location is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Superb walks and trails from gentle strolls to hikes are available right from the doorstep of the cottage and a traditional pub just 400 metres away. You ll be right at the base of Blencathra also known as saddleback with its six fell tops and magnificent far-stretching views. Ullswater lake is 11 miles from here with plenty to partake in including boating windsurfing and fishing. The spectacular Aira Force is 8.5 miles another great walking route which passes the cascading waterfall. Head to the market town of Keswick (10 miles) and visit the many tourist attractions restaurants and shops. This pretty stone-built period property has recently been refurbished throughout and is the perfect accommodation for four people and two dogs. Step into the hallway and hang your coats and place your boots.
