Robin's Nest Foolow, Derbyshire

This fabulous cabin for two, complete with a hot tub (charges apply), is nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The picturesque and historic village of Eyam is only 2 miles away and boasts a village shop, pub and several pretty tearooms to visit. A little further afield is the market town of Bakewell (6.5 miles), famed for its Bakewell pudding. Here, you can explore the many shops, speciality markets selling local produce, public gardens and historic sites. A little further on from Bakewell is Chatsworth House (7 miles), a private home with over 30 rooms open to the public, as well as gardens and a sculpture gallery. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with many walks both locally and in the surrounding area. The Monsal Trail can be picked up from Bakewell (6.5 miles) and follows 8.5 miles of the disused Manchester to London Midland Railway.

There is an open-plan living, kitchen and sleeping area, with a separate shower room. Your morning coffee can be enjoyed in the king-size bed or sat on the comfortable sofa gazing out through the floor-to-ceiling windows which overlook the rolling hills beyond.
