This 2 bedroom coastal retreat is perfect for a couple or a small family. The cottage has been tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Located in the pretty, fishing village of Appledore, this cosy cottage is 2 minutes' walk from the quayside and village shops.Hidden in the quaint streets of Appledore you will discover the many galleries and local artist's studios. Visit the maritime museum, take a trip on the river or simply stroll down to the quayside to watch the world go by. In the evening, either dine in one of the local pubs and restaurants or retreat to the privacy of the cottage . . Westward Ho! is a short drive away, and with 2 miles of sandy beach, is ideal for swimming or surfing. The nearby town of Bideford offers a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an historic quayside and art museum. Local attractions include The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park, The Milky Way, Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal.
Stepping in the spacious ground floor is open-plan offering exposed beams, comfortable seating, wood burner, flatscreen TV and DVD. The kitchen area is modern and fully equipped with attention to detail throughout and door leading to dining room. The dining room is located at the back of the property in the conservatory with double doors opening onto the decked area. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one king-size with TV and 1 single both tastefully decorated and light and airy. The shower room also on first floor with heated towel rail and WC.
Outside is an enclosed decked area with garden furniture perfect for sitting out enjoying a cool drink.
