About Seaside Serenity - Elevated Charm

This property enjoys an elevated position in the village of Appledore in North Devon, just a short walk from the village’s shops, pubs, restaurants, maritime museum, and the traditional fishing quay. In the summer months, a ferry runs across the estuary to the nearby village of Instow, where visitors will find a yacht club, beach, and even more places to eat. Beach-lovers will also love the two-mile wide sandy beach at Westward Ho! which is just two miles away, and boasts a surf school offering lessons in surfing and stand-up paddleboarding.This charmingly stylish property makes a great place from which to enjoy a break in North Devon.

As you enter the cottage you are greeted by a welcoming hallway with space to kick off your boots and hang your coats. A short distance along the hall you can find a handy downstairs WC. On the ground floor, there is also a spacious kitchen/diner with French doors opening onto the property’s garden, and which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine is housed in a nearby cupboard. On the first floor of this stylish cottage you will find the lounge which is a wonderfully relaxing, light-filled space, with stunning estuary views, inviting sofas, Smart TV and hi-fi. Guests should be careful that children take care here, as the staircase leads directly into the room itself. On this floor there are three bedrooms: two doubles and one single room, all of which are lovely restful spaces with understated muted colours. The bathroom, also on the second floor, offers a shower-over-bath with WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden to the rear of the property with garden furniture. There is also secure storage available for guests’ use, which is great for storing bikes, wetsuits surfboard etc.

As is usual in Appledore, there is no parking attached to the property, but there is roadside and car park parking available 100 yards away.(week long permit available for £16)
