The wild flower meadow adjacent to the cottage can be a riot of colour depending on the time of year with some rare flowers, starting in spring with Blue Bells in the woodland, following on with primroses, orchids, foxgloves and campion. Burrow Hill Cottage enjoys a peaceful 'hidden away' location but is only a short walk from the rural village of Hemyock with its convenient amenities.
