About Riverside Haven - Tranquil Waterfront Escape

This property enjoys a fantastic riverside location in the historic town of Bideford in North Devon. Bideford’s pretty, cobbled streets offer an array of unusual shops, antique treasure troves, and tempting restaurants. Or why not take a trip on the MS Oldenburg out to the tranquil shores of Lundy, a beautifully rugged island in the Bristol Channel known for its resident seal colony and puffins. Beach-lovers will love the two-mile wide beach at Westward Ho! which is just three miles from the property, and even has a surf academy, should visitors fancy trying their hand at a new sport.

This contemporary property makes for a wonderful waterside retreat, with the property’s lounge/diner offering views of the river from the comfortable sofa. There is also a dining table seating four in this room, as well as a TV and an Amazon Echo Dot (DVD player available on request). The property’s kitchen provides everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite dishes, including a Nespresso Coffee Machine, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine, although guests may prefer to eat out at one of the town’s many restaurants. A cloakroom on the ground floor offers a convenient WC. There are two bedrooms on the first floor of the property: a charming double room boasting river views, and a relaxing twin. The bathroom, also located on the first floor offers a newly installed shower enclosure and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property, is an enclosed patio garden, offering beautiful views of the River Torridge from the provided table and chairs. Guests can enjoy watching the boats go by, or even enjoy a spot of fishing over the garden wall.

There is off-road parking for one car in front of the property.
