An ideal base for touring the South Devon/Dorset coastline which is a short drive away and includes the popular beaches at Charmouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe. The unspoilt Axe estuary is also nearby with its bird and nature reserve and provides some lovely walking opportunities. The market town of Axminster has shops, inns, restaurants, a sports centre, weekly market, and the famous River Cottage Café and Shop. Other attractions in the area include Abbotsbury, Crealy, Bicton Park, Burrows Farm Gardens and a selection of National Trust properties including Killerton and Knightshayes Court.

Upon entering this bright and airy lodge you are welcomed by an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, here you can prepare your meals in the well equipped kitchen which includes electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge, dinner can be served at the dining area next to the patio doors, then snuggle up on the sofa to settle down for a quiet evening watching your favourite TV programmes. Leading through the hall are 2 bedrooms, one twin room and one king sized master bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is an additional bathroom with shower and WC and a useful utility room with washing machine and freezer which completes the accommodation. Heading outside there is a patio with garden furniture which can be enjoyed and a private lawn area. There is allocated parking outside the property.
