The wide beach at Westward Ho! is where families and water sports enthusiasts alike relax and play on the sand. Behind the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park is a great place to escape the heat of the beach, with its sand dunes and salt marshes providing a lovely backdrop for quiet walks. The fishing village of Appledore is just a short drive away, as is the harbour town of Bideford, where the cobbled streets are lined with interesting independent shops, antique sellers, and a choice of well-regarded eateries. For those looking for something a bit different, there are two fun theme parks close by - The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park.

On entering this property, guests cannot help but be impressed by the stunning views and the stylish light-filled rooms. The second-floor open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a contemporary space with a minimalist feel to it, so as not to detract from the room’s main focal point, the breath-taking sea views from the curved floor-to-ceiling windows. A door here leads out onto a balcony, whilst the TV/DVD provides guests with relaxing entertainment after a busy day at the beach. The lounge area is separated from the kitchen/diner by a sleek kitchen unit, which acts as a half-wall. The area itself is equipped with a dining table, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washer/dryer can be found in the apartment’s shower room, where there is also a shower cubicle and WC.

On the first floor, the main bedroom is a lovely double room, with its own private balcony, sea views, and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The second bedroom is a delightful twin room. Outside, the property benefits from three balconies, one of which has a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying alfresco drinks as the sun goes down.
