This captivating home sits in a commanding position with stunning sea views. The village has its own sand and pebble beaches and the best crabbing pools on the Isle of Wight! There is a well-stocked community shop and several cafés and restaurants. Take the short three-mile trip into Ryde by road or on foot via the coastal path to find plenty of family fun and lots of shops bars and restaurants. The island is steeped in history with much to explore from Queen Victoria s holiday home Osborne House to Carisbrooke Castle. There are wonderful coastal and countryside walks in all directions from Seaview. Enter the property through the porch area which is a perfect place to drop off beach shoes and buckets and spades. Being a reverse-level house three of the four bedrooms are downstairs. The largest of these is on your right-hand side with a king-size bed and dressing table along with ample storage space. Directly across the corridor are two more bedrooms one of which has king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) the other has a triple bunk with a double bed base. Also on the ground floor is a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC and a boiler/storage room with an overspill fridge/freezer. Making your way up the stairs you have the lounge on your right-hand side with sofas additional seating a wood burner and access through the sliding glass doors onto the outside terrace with panoramic views across the Solent. Directly opposite the lounge you have the kitchen/dining area with an electric oven gas hob dishwasher fridge/freezer and microwave. French doors beckons towards another balcony offering panoramic sea views and a serene glimpse of the garden.The main bedroom leads off the landing with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room with WC. Leading off the kitchen through the French doors is the balcony area overlooking the garden with seating and a glimpse of the sea. Head down the steps to the patio area containing a BBQ where the chef of the group can cook up a storm on balmy evenings. The front driveway has parking for four cars. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 2 king size, 1 king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin upon request at the time of booking), and 1 triple bunk room 2. bathrooms 1 family bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 en suite shower room with WC. Electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave Boiler/drying room with additional fridge/freezer. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Travel cot and highchair available. Wood burner in the lounge (first supply of logs provided from October to March only). Smart TV in the lounge area. The village of Seaview is an incredible seaside resort boasting long stretches of sand spanning out from both sides of the small town. The pleasant village centre with its shops post office and restaurants is a short 600-metre walk away. There are several excellent restaurants in Seaview and the nearby villages of St. Helens (2.5 miles) and Bembridge (5 miles). There are plenty of worthwhile places to visit locally including Osborne House (10 miles) once the island home of Queen Victoria Cowes and the lively area of Ryde (4 miles) where activities such as boating shopping and ten-pin bowling can be found. The front door opens onto a large hallway and leads into a central day room where guests can relax and enjoy far-reaching sea views through the extensive windows. During warm weather three sets of French doors can be opened onto an alluring decked area for enjoying meals alfresco. The kitchen has attractive handmade oak units with everything you need to cook up a storm. The adjoining utility room contains a large fridge freezer washing machine and tumble dryer. An open-plan dining area enjoys spectacular sea views. The lounge is attractively furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs. It has a large bay window with a window seat to while away hours watching the passing yachts and boats. An open fire is an attractive focus for the room and a Smart TV is also provided. On the ground floor is a lovely king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. A separate cloakroom with WC completes the ground floor. On the first floor are four spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom includes a super-king-size bed with a TV and stunning sea views and an en-suite bathroom with a bath separate shower and WC. The second is a super-king-size bedroom with oak wardrobes. The third is a king-size plus single bed and the fourth is a twin. A second shower room and WC is on this floor. The garden has an extensive decked area where guests can relax and marvel at the magnificent landscape. A garden table and chairs BBQ and reclining chairs for sunbathing are provided. Steps lead down to a lawn which goes down to the beach. Relax and read sit and admire run around and play swim or boat; the choices are endless. At Christmas time property will be decorated (trees, front door wreaths), with Fortnum and Mason Christmas puddings and bottles of champagne. Christmas in Seaview is magical with local church services, carols in the Holland wine bar, steaming hot chocs at Lilys and lots of fun seasonal activities at the steam railway and all the other attractions. At New Years Eve there are lots of parties at village and island hostelries. If you decide to entertain at home, at midnight there are wonderful firework displays all along the coast from Portsmouth to the east that you see from the BB deck.
