A short stroll takes you to the centre of Broadstairs (0.5 miles) famously favoured by Charles Dickens and offering no less than seven nearby sandy beaches as well as an attractive harbour mini golf and a cliff-top promenade. With its many independent shops restaurants and pubs there is something for everyone. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy trying out the range of activities on offer at Viking Bay Beach and keen walkers and cyclists will enjoy the scenic coastal Viking Trail to Margate and Ramsgate.
