Swallow’s Return is a newly refurbished single storey property, situated in a peaceful residential area, with open rural views to the rear. It is owned by Jane and Chris who have fully renovated the property to include two new bathrooms (one accessible) and a new kitchen. The open plan sitting room and dining area is filled with light, and overlooks the good sized garden and to the fields beyond. There are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and high level WC, so suitable for people with limited mobility. Once inside the house there are no steps and the thresholds are flat. Sheringham is one of those timeless places you come back to year after year. Apart from the award winning Blue Flag beach, the town is home to many independent shops, galleries and restaurants, not to mention the fabulous fish and chips! Sheringham is home to the Poppy Line, The North Norfolk Steam Railway, and this is the jewel in Sheringham’s crown. This attraction, run by volunteers is the focal point for many events over the year, including the famous 1940s weekend held in September. There is something going on in Sheringham all year round run by a dedicated Carnival Committee. Sheringham Carnival held in August is a real treat for all the family, with tradition at its core.
