About Douglas
Set in a wild flower meadow, Douglas is completely eco friendly and off-grid. This hand crafted, renovated horsebox is a cosy get away with a king-size bed, wood burning stove and fully quipped kitchen.Leading up to Douglas is a set of stairs to the old loading ramp. This has been turned into a decking area with a table and chairs, perfect for watching the wildlife pass by or the sun go down. Through the french doors you are greeted by the spacious living area comprising of a kitchenette, seating area and tucked away beds. Perfect for cooking up a storm after a day of exploration, the kitchen is home to a four hob cooker grill, sink and work top space. The bench seating area is great for chilling with a book. Tucked away above the cab is a king-size bed.
There is a private shower unit and separate compost WC just a few steps away from the rear door of the horse box, both of which boast sky views. To the front of the horsebox is a lovely seating area with a firepit.
Douglas is powered completely by the Norfolk sun! The rays are taken and stored in the battery bank and then recycled around the site for the lighting options, USB charging and pumping water.
