Rose Fitt House in the historic quarter of Hunstanton, overlooking Lincoln Square towards the sea, is the perfect house for large family and friends gatherings. The resort was originally founded in Victorian times  by Henry Styleman Le Strange, who’s family still reside locally. The beautiful Victorian and Edwardian villas, many built from carrstone or ‘honeystone’ as it’s known locally, found in the historic quarter of the town reflect this former glory. A wander around this part of the town is something many visitors miss, so it is worth a visit to to the local Heritage Centre to find out a bit more. Of course many people flock to Hunstanton for the beaches, which are sandy and backed with dunes and beach huts. To the south end of the beach you will find traditional seaside treats like a children’s fun fair, slot machines and some glorious fish and chips! Head to Reg’s for fish and chips with a view over the Wash from their balcony, front row seats for the sunsets.
