A charming brick and flint cottage located in North Creake Fakenham ideal for families couples and friends looking to explore the North Norfolk coastline and countryside. Fakenham has a famous racecourse as well as a good range of shops restaurants and pubs. Popular coastal towns nearby include Holkham Wells-next-the-Sea and Brancaster all of which have beautiful sandy beaches (all within 7.5 miles). Birdwatchers will enjoy Sculthorpe Titchwell Snettisham and Cley s premier bird reserves (all within 12 miles). A boat trip out to Blakeney Point to see the resident seal colony is highly recommended for more wildlife (11 miles). Burnham Market is a stunning village full of independent boutique shops pubs and restaurants and is a must-see (5.5 miles). As soon as you step through the door of the cottage you can take off your walking shoes and step into the entrance hall. This area doubles as a snug space with a small sofa a desk and a TV. Continue through to the light and airy lounge area on the left where there are two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to watch your favourite shows after a long day of exploring the area as well as an open fire to snuggle in front of on a cold evening. Enter the kitchen/dining area through the lounge and prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to cook up a sumptuous meal for everyone to enjoy around the dining table that seats six. Climb the stairs to two lovely bedrooms one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds both with storage. The family bathroom is on the ground floor. When you step outside you ll find an enclosed and spacious garden. There is also a patio area with garden furniture where you can relax fire up the BBQ and enjoy a meal outside while soaking up the sun. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC (bathroom updated October 2023). Electric fan oven and induction hob, upright fridge/freezer and washing machine and dishwasher. Open fire (logs provided between October and March). Highchair and travel cot available. Smart TV in the lounge, TV in snug area. Enclosed garden and courtyard area with seating. Please note for taller guests that this character cottage has low height beams and doorways.
