About Birch Cottage
Birch Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Northrepps. Walkers (and their dogs) will love exploring the pretty lanes and established trails that run through the village, and especially the twenty minute walk across the fields to the coast at Overstrand. With a south facing sun trap of a garden, a friendly family run village pub just down the road, and playing fields around the corner, there's something here for holidaymakers of all ages.Built in 2007, Birch Cottage, now under new ownership, has been given a contemporary cottage makeover, with the emphasis on comfort. Now beautifully presented with easy-on-the-eye decor, new furniture and furnishings throughout and all complemented with an attractive selection of artworks. Well-equipped and practical too, the owners have thought of everything to ensure you enjoy a relaxing holiday. All the rooms on the ground floor lead off the entrance hallway. Both the kitchen and sitting room overlook the rear garden and have doors to open when the sun is in the sky and the days are longer. The dining room at the front of the house is just the spot for sharing a family meal, and tucking into some fresh local produce. Upstairs on the first floor are three delightful bedrooms - a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second room with a super-king zip and link bed that can be made up as twin beds if preferred, and lastly a twin room with full-size single beds. There are two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, with showers in both, as well a bath in the family bathroom. There's the convenience of a cloakroom on the ground floor too. The garden is fully enclosed and safe for little ones and furry friends to play while you put your feet up or pour the wine and attend to the barbecue.
Three miles from the coastal town of Cromer, Northrepps is an attractive North Norfolk village, principally made up of flint cottages, some with thatched roofs, and is approached from all directions by pretty meandering country lanes. Birch Cottage is a perfectly positioned holiday retreat and a great base for families, couples and friends looking to explore both the beautiful North Norfolk coastline and its many inland attractions.
