A superb retreat for couples looking to escape to the countryside, with plenty of walks to enjoy throughout the adjacent parkland.Kimberley Hall is one of Norfolk most important historic houses and this romantic pink gate house with its own private garden overlooks a beautiful landscape where you will often see grazing cattle, roe deer, barn owls and red kites. The park also has the meandering River Tiffey, which is only a 400 metre walk from the cottage.
This exquisite detached property offers a double bedroom with a high-quality super-king bed and custom made headboard. You’ll also find an excellent bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room with domed ceiling, sofa, large TV and a modern LED log effect burner.
Outside, you’ll find that the Gate House has its own large private garden which is separated from the park by fencing that encloses the space. Additional seating and the barbecue can be enjoyed late into the evening, in this peaceful corner of Norfolk. The adjacent three acre paddock can be used when cattle are not grazing and there is also a stable for those who wish to bring their own horse, upon request. The garden faces west so perfect for sundown cocktails.
