This gorgeous single-floor retreat is located in the charming village of Yelverton just a short half-mile stroll to nearby shops cafes pubs and restaurants. Nestled within the Dartmoor National Park you ll find easy access to some of Devon s most awe-inspiring vistas hiking trails dog walks and cycling routes. Just a 5.5-mile drive away is the historic stannary market town of Tavistock offering its own unique charm and attractions including Buckland Abbey and the enchanting Garden House. Slightly further afield is Plymouth (9.5 miles) which offers a range of shops restaurants bars and many historical sites like the Hoe the National Marine Museum and the Theatre Royal. Further south (17 miles) explore the tranquil sandy beach of Bovisands and unwind along the sheltered bay located in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This unique holiday home is one of two suites in the property. Located on the ground floor enter this beautiful single-level bolthole and kick off your shoes. To your right is a dining area and the room opens into a kitchen/lounge area. With a cosy sofa and wingback armchair for unwinding a TV and DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen you can relax with ease after a long day exploring. Across the hall is the beautiful super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with a divine rainfall shower with stunning beams and exposed walls throughout the property. Outside there is access to a secluded garden (sorry no dogs) with a tranquil area to listen to the birds sing. This remarkable cabin is set along the Tamar River and surrounded by the Tamar Valley which is soaked in beauty and history. The AONB possesses some of the finest scenery in the West Country and the estuary is an important haven for wildlife such as the avocet and little egret. All this makes for some wonderful walking trails and sites for guests to explore. The World Heritage town of Tavistock (7.5 miles) is within easy reach and offers a historic pannier market boutique shops and plenty of cafes. The National Trust property Buckland Abbey is a 5-mile drive away and well worth a visit or head further afield to Plymouth Gin (15 miles) or Pennywell Farm (30 miles) for something a little different. Upon entering this beautiful retreat you will notice the luxury airy design throughout the home.
