Chance Cottage is a picture postcard cottage built in traditional Yorkshire stone, bursting with character and situated in the sought after village of East Witton on the edge of Wensleydale. Comfortable and spacious, the cottage will suit families or a group of friends at any time of year. It sits in a peaceful location, yet it is under half an hour from Ripon or, nearer still, Masham.The property has been furnished to a high standard throughout for guests to enjoy. The sitting room and dining room with seating for six guests both have a large wood burning stove, perfect for cosy nights in. There is also a delightful breakfast room and conservatory for informal dining to complement your stay, both leading out to the rear garden and seating area. The well-equipped stylish farmhouse kitchen offers beautiful exposed beams as it leads you through to the rest of the cottage. The three light and airy bedrooms are tastefully decorated, overlooking the rolling countryside towards the village. The master king-size bedroom boasts a spacious en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower. A second king-size bedroom and bathroom feature the added luxury of a roll-top, claw-foot bath also with shower. And finally the third double bedroom has stunning views across to the church, and there's an additional family bathroom.
Picturesque East Witton has a village pub, The Blue Lion, an 18th century inn, serving mouth-watering food and range of hand-pulled local ales in charming candlelit surroundings. There are pretty walks from the village directly onto the moors.

Throughout the first floor a few rooms have low ceilings.
Due to the rural area, the road in front of the cottage can at times have livestock being moved along from the local farm.
