About Harwood Cottage
Harwood Cottage is a charming, period stone built property dating back over 200 years situated in the stunning village of Hovingham.The village is situated on the edge of the Howardian Hills in Ryedale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village itself has a bakery/cafe and the Worsley Arms Hotel serving an A La Carte menu. The Malt Shovel Pub serving bar meals as well as an excellent village shop and hairdressers are all within easy walking distance. A local fish and chip van visits the village on a Tuesday evening. The village also offers a tennis court, bowling green and playground and a good variety of walks through the beautiful local countryside. There is also a wonderful farmers market the first Saturday of each month in the village.
