Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking, 100 metres away, for one medium sized car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub within 2 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed down a steep slope. Please note: Parking space which can fit up to 1 medium size car only.

A really lovely property which was tastefully decorated and well thought out. It was cosy but modern, and in a central location. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely week in the house, everything was exactly as advertised. We settled in instantly and found all the kitchen equipment, shower, TV etc very easy to use.

A lovely, light, open plan holiday let which is well looked after. Very relaxing. Loved the box of chocolates on arrival. Good instruction booklet on everything in the apartment - cooker to dishwasher.

A fantastic location, only 2 minutes from the town centre. It was great that there's a parking space too, especially given the location. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break and the bedrooms were very comfortable.

An excellent cottage which was well furnished and in an ideal location. The car parking space was a real bonus in Whitby. A beautiful town, with heaps to do. Would certainly recommend both the cottage and Whitby.

Cottage in a central location, a real home from home. It was in a quiet area near to a bus and train station, Whitby seafront and Abbey, also easy to get to Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough. The cottage has everything you could need and the beds are really comfortable. Will definitely be going back to The Old Blacksmiths Workshop. Couldn't fault anything.

The central location of this cottage with the bonus of a parking space provides maximum convenience in which to explore all of Whitby's many attractions. Literally there are many great pubs and restaurants just a few metres away. We had a great time. Access to the cottage was easy, and the cottage was warm and cosy and furnished to high standard throughout.

Brilliant location - the cottage is a five minute walk from everything beautiful Whitby has to offer. The cottage was perfect for our weekend break but I would gladly spend a full week there as everything had been thought of - even the vinegar in the cupboard for the obligatory fish and chips!

The cottage is in a lovely central location and is close to all the main parts in whitby. The property is beautiful and 'home from home' like. Its furbished to an excellent standard. Very clean and the owner is very friendly & accomodating. Parking space was brilliant.

Thoroughly enjoyed Whitby. Plenty of activity, scenery and history and close to many other towns that can be easily visited by bus, train or car. It was a hassle free trip and I would recommend Sykes to others.
