Coastal Charm - Village Vibes Hipsburn, Northumberland

This charming cottage enjoys a great location in the much-loved coastal village of Alnmouth on Northumberland’s fabulous coastline and is within easy walking distance to all the restaurants, pubs and shops. You can stroll along the golden, sandy beach with an ice cream and play a round of golf taking in the panoramic sea views. Nearby, the Alnwick Garden and Castle, Bamburgh Castle and its exquisite beach and village, the friendly market town of Amble with its superb restaurants and marina, Warkworth’s medieval castle and lovely shops and a boat trip to Coquet island are all easy to get to.

There is plenty of room for your coats and boots in here and you will find the washing machine in the utility cupboard. Stepping into the kitchen/diner with an orangery-style roof allowing plenty of natural light into the room, you will find a welcoming space where you can cook and eat a meal in together. There is a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and the ‘Belfast’ sink overlooking the patio outside completes the cottage ambience. The dining table has seating for six. Moving through to the spacious lounge you can all put your feet up and relax in front of the cosy wood burner set in an impressive inglenook fireplace. Sit and chat, read a book, play one of the games available or catch up with a movie on the Smart TV/DVD. There are two comfortable sofas, an armchair and coffee table in this well-proportioned room. The beautifully finished family bathroom is also downstairs and has underfloor heating to make it extra toasty, there is a large walk in rainfall shower.

Stairs in the lounge lead up to the three bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the patio garden and has a king-size bed with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe for your things, this leads through to the second bedroom with twin beds a mirrored wardrobe and chest of drawers, perfect for a family. The third bedroom has a double bed and bedside shelving and a set of drawers.

Outside, there is an enclosed, raised decked patio garden with a table and chairs for al fresco drinks. Parking- is on road. There are many fee parking spaces in the village. You can park and unload and then find a parking space. In addition, there is paid parking along the beach front.
