From its elevated position Rose Cottage has spectacular views over Alnmouth estuary and the bay beyond. You will also not be disappointed to hear that Alnmouth village, with its wide range of locally renowned pubs, restaurants, coffee houses and arts and craft studios, as well as the stunning Golf Course and the gorgeous beach are only 15 minutes away on foot. Alnmouth train station linking both North to Scotland and South to London is a mere 700 meters from the cottage so, you can even decide to leave the car at home! There is a bike rental shop at the train station too!! The new Greenrig halt of the Aln Valley Railway is just a mile from the cottage and can be accessed by a short walk/ cycle ride along a scenic country lane, which also continues into Alnwick This cottage accepts one well behaved dog.
