This lovingly renovated property is situated in the small quaint hamlet of Lydmarsh in the south of Somerset near the borders of both Dorset and Devon. There is a choice of country walks cycle routes and golf at Cricket St Thomas (3 miles). Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis Dorset s iconic seaside town both 13.5 miles. Retail therapy can be found in the market towns of Chard (2.5 miles) Ilminster (5 miles) Crewkerne (6.5 miles) and the county town of Taunton (16.5 miles). Visit National Trust s Barrington Court (10 miles) and Montacute House (14 miles) and don t forget to go to the Quantock Hills or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. Step into this beautiful property into a spacious hall with a useful cloakroom with a WC. From here head into the lounge/diner which has a feature fireplace with an electric effect wood burner. It is a lovely room to relax in with your favourite book or you could enjoy watching a movie. Back to the hall and into the well-equipped kitchen which has all the facilities you will need to cook a lazy breakfast or a delicious feast. There are French doors opening into the small enclosed terrace. After a busy day exploring head upstairs to the bedroom where you can sleep well in the super-king-size bed (which can be made up as a twin on request at the point of booking). There is also a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. Head outside from the kitchen to the small enclosed terrace here you will find outside seating which makes a lovely spot for your morning coffee or some al fresco dining. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 super king (zip and link beds that can be made up into 2 twin beds),. 1 en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, 1 separate WC. Electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Smart TV in the kitchen. Small, enclosed terrace with seating. Private parking for 1 car. Beach 13.5 miles, pub 1.8 miles and shops 2.5 miles. will allow babe in arms, with guests to provide travel cot etc.
