Stratford-upon-Avon (12 miles), birthplace of William Shakespeare, is easily accessible from the property and well worth a visit to learn about the history of the area. Enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and visit the family home of Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway. The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists with many trails winding through the picturesque Cotswolds countryside. Two gems of the area, Bourton-on-the-Water (16 miles) and Stow-on-the-Wold (12 miles), are extremely popular for a day trip to experience two traditional Cotswold towns at their very best.
