The village of Southwick is an ideal base for those wishing to explore this picturesque part of Wiltshire with the Cotswolds also close by. The village itself has a shop and pub as well as a country park perfect for long walks or cycling. Further amenities can be found in the nearby town of Trowbridge which is only 2 miles away and offers a blend of high street names and independent shops. Many of the region s most popular attractions are within easy reach including the beautiful city of Bath Bradford-on-Avon with its charming canal and riverside walks Longleat House and Safari Park Stonehenge Lacock Abbey and Village Corsham Stourhead and Frome which are all within 20 miles drive. Attached to the owner s home yet with privacy assured this contemporary property has a private entrance door which opens into the stylish kitchen area. Restored in 2022 this space is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There is a useful separate WC just next door complete with a dog shower ideal for use after muddy walks. The open plan living space leads on from here and offers cleverly planned areas for dining and relaxing in comfort beside the Smart TV. On the ground floor is a charming double bedroom with access to a striking Jack and Jill bathroom which also opens into the lounge area. This luxurious space is fitted with a generous shower beautiful freestanding bath and WC. A flight of stairs leads up to the first floor and a fabulous mezzanine style bedroom with Juliet balcony Smart TV and views over the surrounding fields. Due to its setting within the eaves there are some areas of restricted head height which only adds to its charm. This spacious room has a lounge area with sofa and a single daybed with additional pull-out single bed which are available on request. Doors lead from the lounge space to the enclosed courtyard garden where you can sit and relax in the private hot tub or enjoy a drink or meal outdoors whilst admiring the view. There is ample off-road parking for at least one car to the side of the property. Need to know: Bedrooms 2 doubles. Bathrooms 1 Jack and Jill style bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC and 1 separate WC with dog shower. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Smart TVs in the lounge and first floor bedroom. Private lazy spa hot tub. Robes and slippers provided. Hair Dryer provided in each bedroom . Enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and separate paddock ideal for exercising dogs and BBQ.
