The glorious Ayrshire coastline and countryside is a delight for walkers cyclists and hikers with an abundance of coastal trails and country tracks to explore. Iron your plus as there are championship golf courses nearby at Turnberry Prestwick and Royal Troon all within 13 miles. Visit an array of historic castles and houses including Culzean Dumfries House Dundonald and Dean all within 15 miles. Poetry and history enthusiast will be in their element at the nearby village of Alloway (5 miles) which is the birthplace of Robert Burns and the setting for his poems.
