Next is the formal dining room with a long table beneath a chandelier in front of tall sash windows with views of the Cheviot Hills, overlooking the River Tweed. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen with a large AGA which keeps the room warm and is ideal for cooking a large, special meal for celebratory occasions. A handy utility room can also be found on the ground floor. Return to the hallway and walk down three steps to reach the formal sitting room which is spacious with seating for all your guests and a fireplace. Head up the original staircase to reach the first floor where you’ll be greeted with some seating where you can relax with a book from the bookshelf. All of the bedrooms are on this level. The master bedroom has a super-king-size bed, Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom. There are two family bedrooms with a pair of double beds, a Smart TV and en-suites. And there are two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms which can be made into twins on request, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom on this floor. Outside, there is a grassy south-facing garden with a covered area which contains a hot tub and outdoor seating.
