About Nant Cottage
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.Nant Cottage is a detached stone built cottage, situated on the edge of the Gwydir Forest in the Snowdonia National Park. Boasting three bedrooms consisting of two doubles, one of which has an en-suite washbasin and WC and one twin, as well as a ground floor family shower room, this cottage can sleep six people. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen, a sitting/dining room with log burning stove and an additional sitting room with a recessed
fireplace. Outside, there is ample off road parking and a garden with furniture. Nant Cottage is a wonderful cottage and perfect for exploring the area.
Three bedrooms: 2 x double (one with en-suite WC and basin), 1 x twin. Modern bathroom with shower over bath (ground floor). Well equipped modern fitted kitchen with utility/boot room off. Delightful beamed sitting/dining room with inglenook fireplace, window seats and log burning stove. Extra sitting room with window seats and recessed fireplace.

The location of Nant Cottage was fantastic, in the heart of North Wales. Walking, cycling and general tourist travel are made easy when staying at this cottage.
The ambience of the cottage is superb , it gives one a feel of total relaxation . Wild life visits you on the very doorstep , there is a beautiful waterfall within 5 minute walk . 10 out of 10!
A lovely, comfortable cottage on its own in the forest by a waterfall. Friendly owners; nothing too much trouble. When we booked we expected something a little special but this place is the stuff of dreams. We will definitely be going again. A truly beautiful place.

Breathtaking cottage and views in the surrounding area. Lots to do on the doorstep with everything you could want only a couple of miles away. Everything about this holiday went smoothly and would certainly not hesitate using Sykes and Nant Cottage in the very near future.
This was a 'proper' cottage! The size, shape, layout and décor both inside and out were all one would hope a cottage to be. The location was perfect. Surrounded by trees and with a nearby waterfall, it felt as though we were in remote countryside, yet with Llanrwst only 5 minutes away. Everything in and around the cottage was well presented and obviously cared for by its owners.

Nant Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location was the perfect place for us get away for a few days and relax after our wedding. Nant Hall has been very well looked after and we soon found ourselves calling it 'home'. We loved it and will definitely be back for a whole week as possible.

A lovely cottage, with everything we could need, it had a really homely feel and was very cozy despite the freezing temperatures outside. The area was beautiful and there was so much to do within close proximity. We had a lovely welcome from the owner who greeted us with scones, and put milk in the fridge for us, a thoughtful touch, she gave us her number if we needed anything (we didn't) and then left us in peace to enjoy our break. Thoroughly recommended and will definitely return.
The cottage was picture perfect, a gorgeous house in a beautiful spot. A real holiday to remember with the wood burner, character rooms and a waterfall at the bottom of the garden. What more could you ask. So peaceful and yet near enough to the places to visit.
This is the second time that we have stayed at Nant Cottage. What a fantastic, romantic building. The owners obviously upkeep this building as if it was their own home. We could not find any fault, simply wish we could afford to purchase the property due to its excellent location and warm, homely feeling. Very comfortable, everything working & there was plenty of crockery/cutlery for all. We always talk about our experience at Nant as one of the best & exclusive getaways we have ever experienced.
A warm, welcoming cottage set in the most stunning surroundings. The cottage provided the most perfect location for our Christmas providing all we needed and extra treats. We enjoyed the fantastic walking and cycling from our back door.
For me as a walker the location was ideal as it placed me within short drives of many hills and mountains. The location was quiet without being too remote. The property was warm and comfortable as were the beds plus plenty of hot water and a good shower. The welcome from the owners was warm and helpful, the cream scones went down well!

The surrounding area is stunning; there is so much to do right on the doorstep. The amenities in the cottage are perfect, everything you need to cook substantial family meals including a roast dinner are provided. The furniture, TV and WiFi were all excellent! The complimentary cream tea and chocolates were a lovely surprise. Our boys loved the stream across the road and the waterfall in the back garden is just amazing. I didn't want to leave the cottage and gardens!

A really comfortable, cosy place to stay, away from the pace of modern life. Totally relaxing, it gives you the chance to have the holiday of your choice in North Wales. We travelled to Llandudno, Llanberis, Caernarfon, Bala, Porthmadog, Blaenau Festiniog, Beddgelert, through fantastic scenery and with ease. Its setting deep in the woods with the sound of the waterfall is completely idyllic, and the log fire in the evening makes a stress free end to perfect days.
Excellent weather providing great opportunities to sample the best of Snowdonia. The ascent of Snowdon via the Ranger path on a glorious summers day was a particular highlight for the children. The Ffestiniog railway along with Great Orme/LLandudno, Portmerion, high ropes courses and zorbing kept the kids occupied throughout the days, and excellent pub food topped it all off in the evenings. The old stag in LLangernyw, and the Stables bar in picturesque Betws-y-coed provided good value nourishment. On top of all this an idyllic cottage on the edge of Gwydir forest park provided a tremendous setting to what we all agreed was probably the best family holiday we have all had.
The cottage was very isolated which was a big bonus for a relaxing holiday. Plenty of parking provision. Well equipped. Cosy, comfy and welcoming.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything that you could possibly need, the scones with jam and cream on arrival was a lovely touch as was the supply of some essentials. I loved every aspect of Nant Cottage, it is as comfortable inside as it is attractive from the exterior, warm, cosy and very well equipped. The location on the edge of the Gwydir Forest suited me perfectly, a few minutes from the back door and one has a variety of forest trails to walk and a short car journey will take you to many of the local attractions. This is a well run property and understandably popular.

The cottage itself was built to an exceptionally high standard; the furnishings and fittings were first class; the weather was cold, but the cottage was warm; we also had a warm welcome from the owners, including a plate of home made scones, butter, jam and cream! Excellent!

We loved staying at Nant Cottage, it was in a beautiful location and was very well furnished. The rooms were decorated tastefully. We were very pleased with the warm welcome we received and were very grateful for the scones and champagne! Nant Cottage is very conveniently situated for a number of attractions which are well worth visiting. In particular, there are several National Trust properties, the most convenient being Bodnant Gardens. It is also well situated for exploring Snowdonia, by car, cycle, or on foot.

This property is an absolute hidden gem. Every aspect of it was amazing. It started with scones and fresh cream on arrival and every room we entered was full of character. There was plenty of space inside and out. Plenty of crockery and some cracking walks nearby. Don't miss the waterfall just a few meters from the property.

Nant Cottage was excellent. A beautifully comfortable chocolate box cottage, set in a stunning location. We couldn't have wished for better.
Cottage was well situated with walks in Gwydir Forest starting within 30 seconds of door. Llanrwst was good centre and nearest pub catered well for vegetarians. The log stove was most welcome.
Can find no fault with anything at Nant Cottage, in fact it was a home from home. The welcome we got, including the scones and cream, was excellent! If fact we are praising it so much that our friends and family have made a note of the address and your goodselves, and we expect to find it difficult to book again.

Nant Cottage is the place to stay for anyone looking for quality accomodation in a spectacular setting in North Wales. It has wonderful waterfalls right next to it. Garden and patio area excellent. Very relaxing walks straight from the cottage and few minutes walk from very tall Waterfalls which you can hear from the cottage.
It was a lovely cottage in a beautiful area, ideal for our pastimes of walking and bird watching. The cottage was very comfortable and homely and equipped with everything we needed. It was a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. It is just the place to get away from everything if you wanted to. Our children (aged 10 and 12) discribed it as "The Secret Garden" and had a wonderful time exploring the area. Turning up to find a hot kettle and cake laid out was nice. Having a quite room to read in was good.

Nant Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location in the forest. Although it gave us the seclusion that we require in a cottage holiday it was ideally situated for all amenities and attractions of the National Park. Thw owners are extremely friendly and welcoming and it was a lovely touch to have the kettle boiled, a pint of milk in the firdge and a homemade cake for us after a long journey from Kent. We will definitely make a return visit to Nant Cottage and will recommend it to our friends.

It was the quintessential country cottage. The ability to walk from your doorstep into the forest was excellent and the sound of the waterfalls was wonderful.
The peace and quiet and relative remoteness of the cottage was just what we needed. Watching the birds and wildlife from the windows was amazing. We would definitely go there again.

Able to go on a variety of walks without travelling far in the car and then relaxing in the cottage which felt like home and nothing beats that. The cottage was superb and it made our holiday complete, it was like home from home, clean, cosy, decorated tastefully, everything was in place and worked and a drink by the the log burner after long walks topped it all.
