Heading into Eryri or Snowdonia, hikers can enjoy the walk up to Arthog Falls (16 miles) and train buffs can hop aboard at Fairbourne Railway (15.5 miles) and ride to the mouth of the Mawddach Estuary and connect with the ferry to the seaside town of Barmouth (check timings).
