A very nice cottage in a lovely area.
High quality accommodation, stylish and pretty and very comfortable. The owners were also very helpful.
The cottage was finished to a very high standard and in a great area for walking and sight seeing
This is a super cottage and wonderful scenery. We had a very enjoyable holiday.
We had a throughly enjoyable stay at 2 Bryn Tirion. The cottage is beautiful and incredibly well appointed, the photos and description really don't do it justice. The views from the front are lovely and the cottage itself is situated in such a handy location for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding area. I would (and already have) highly recommend a stay at 2 Bryn Tirion to anyone looking for a break in this area.
This cottage has been converted to a very high standard and provides a fantastic base for exploring the local area. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this property. The upstairs patio is a fabulous sun trap in the afternoon, even in early March.
Originally a quarryman's modest cottage but so imaginatively planned and converted using high quality materials and workmanship throughout. There's plenty of space for two, all maintained in immaculate condition. The patio is an excellent sun trap. A cosy and comfortable cottage to return to.
It was excellent in every way. It was so quiet and peaceful with a super bed, have never slept so well.
The place was impeccably clean, and we really enjoyed the double ended bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. The view over the valley and the mountains on the other side were gorgeous. The kitchen was also really nice.
This was a very well maintained cottage in a quiet village setting with lovely views. It was an ideal touring base and had lovely walks on the doorstep. We will definitely use it again when visiting North Wales. It is just the right size for a mobile couple with a well behaved dog.
An absolutely beautiful cottage, inside and out. Can't fault anything. The décor was gorgeous, it had a hotel feel to it, but was also practical for us, our baby and two dogs. In a central location for us too.
Beautiful cottage overlooking the Vale of Ffestiniog. Plenty of walks from the house itself and great central location in North Wales for days out rain or shine. House is really well presented and looked just as the photos suggested from the Sykes webpage. Would definitely consider staying here again.
This is a lovely property, and is very spacious for two. The views are stunning from the cottage and parking the car opposite on the grass verge is no problem. We had a great week with good weather, the cottage is placed well for touring North Wales.
A very comfortable cottage indeed, attention to detail was excellent.
We had a wonderful time, I cannot rate this property highly enough.
It was absolutely beautiful, very clean, beautiful décor and very comfortable bed. We also took along our 2 little dogs, who found the kitchen also lovely and warm to sleep in.
It exceeded our expectations.
Living in London it was exactly what we needed a break away, with breathtaking views, beautiful walks and a cottage to end the day in that was warm and cosy! highly recommend. We will be booking again for sure.
Stunning central location for walking, relaxing and travelling to other attractions. Fantastic accommodation in all areas... we have had superbly comfortable stay, very friendly and more than helpful owner. We will be returning!
Excellent cottage with a lovely view. Will be back.
The décor was beautiful, the cottage was very cosy and warm.
Cottage was one of the best we've stayed in - very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The scenery in that part of Wales is stunning and the weather for our week was perfect - not a drop of rain!
Highest quality Cottage, comprehensively and thoughtfully equipped. Fabulous weather and stunning views from the bedroom.
Absolutely fantastic cottage, outstanding finish and in a beautiful location. The perfect base to see all the beautiful places North Wales has to offer.
The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It would be difficult to do it justice through photos but if you like the look of it from the pictures on here, trust me, you will only be even more delighted when you arrive. It also has the most stunning of views from the living room and bedroom. Worth visiting for this alone! The kitchen is well equipped and TESCO and ASDA both deliver to the cottage if you want to stock up on supplies for the week. We cooked every night and found the cottage had everything you need (and more) to do this. The furnishings are all of a high quality and the en suite bathroom was a particular highlight of mine! There is a small shop within walking distance but you will need to drive for more amenities. There are gorgeous walks right from the cottage and it is excellently located to get to a whole range of places in Snowdonia. The owner is really helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very dog friendly and there was room to store our bikes. They even made sure there were some lovely little supplies waiting for us on our arrival. If you are happy to use this cottage as a base for exploring and are looking for a well appointed, gorgeous, homely place to stay then look no further.
The view into the valley is particulary nice. We appreciated to have an oven / fireplace.
The cottage had the most amazing view and was just outside of the village - just what we wanted.
This was the first cottage that I have stayed at, where a good quality bed had been placed was able to have a good sleep every night. This cottage has been completed to a lovely standard and is a pleasure to stay in and a credit to the owner.
The position was fantastic. I adored the way the cottage was furnished and the fixtures and fittings were excellent. Even the art work which is often very safe and predictable, was refreshingly individual and personal. I loved luxuriating in that fabulous bath-tub in the en-suite whilst my husband preferred the downstairs shower so were both happy. The absolute gem of the place however, was the delightful tiered back garden which was a real little piece of heaven on earth. LOVELY. We didn't want to leave - will definitely be back.
Beautiful cottage with very high quality furnishings etc. In a very good position for touring, would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable base for all that North Wales has to offer.
Fantastic location- one of the best cottages we have stayed in.
We loved the cottage; the scenery was breath taking; the Zip wire at Bangor was fantastic; the sheep and lambs were wonderful to hear and watch.
The cottage is beautiful. Everything we needed and more was provided and we were really impressed with the attention to detail. We will definitely be returning! The view from the cottage is amazing - different every day with the changes in weather on the mountains. The walk to Rhaeadr Falls is stunning and there are many more local attractions and beauty spots we are yet to visit. We were very sad to leave this sanctuary!
The cottage was very comfortable and clean. Lovely décor throughout, fabulous upstairs bathroom, very nicely done. Everything you need with lovely views. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely time in this cosy quarry man's cottage. The surrounding landscape is amazing and felt very atmospheric in the dreary weather. The inside of the cottage is warm and cheerful, and decorated to a very high standard. We took scenic drives from the cottage to Portmadog, Cricieth and Anglesey - all of which were within a reasonable distance. It would also be a fantastic base for keen walkers to explore Snowdonia national park and beyond. We would highly recommend this cottage to a couple or small family.
We had a fantastic time, the cottage and location were perfect for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be coming back.
This may look like a small property from the outside, but the spacious interior is beautifully presented and decorated. With a fire in the stove it is very cosy. The view to the front of the property across to the mountains is spectacular, and looking down the road you can even see Portmeirion and the sea beyond in the distance. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the rear terrace. We found a stroll down to the viewpoint behind the church in Llan Ffestiniog well worth while, and while there found local circular walks posted on the notice board. Without a doubt the best holiday cottage we have stayed in.
The cottage was fantastic, in a peaceful location but close to the main routes and so close to Snowdonia mountains. I could walk every morning from the cottage using different routes.
The cottage was to a high standard, very clean, very comfortable, it had everything you needed. Great location looking over the mountains, plenty of great places to visit, great beaches to walk the dog, would definitely recommend this cottage.
The cottage was delightful. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. The tub in the upstairs bathroom was amazing.
The cottage certainly lived up to expectations. It was beautifully presented and in a very impressive rural setting. I would definitely recommend it to our friends and family, and will be sure to return in the not too distant future.
The house was lovely. It was beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. We would highly recommend the property to others.
A particularly nice touch was the welcome pack including teabags, milk and Welsh cakes.
This property is beautifully furnished, and well maintained. It was a lovely house to spend time in, especially with all the hot weather, it was nice to go back to the house, relax and know all the mod-cons were available.
The cottage was of a very high standard, wanted for nothing!
Country walks from the doorstep. Beautiful beaches nearby. Peaceful location.
The bathroom was beautiful with lovely underfloor heating and the cottage was very homely. The owners were fantastic.
The premise appeared to have been only recently renovated and was immaculate.
