The cottage is directly adjacent to the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path and sits within the Pembrokeshire National park. Sandy Haven beach is sheltered by the low wooded cliffs of Great Castle Head and South Hook point, an idyllic setting for nature lovers and families wanting to get away from it all. Situated between Dale and Milford Haven, it's an excellent location for exploring the delights of Pembrokeshire. Just 5 miles along the coast, you will find the beaches at Little Haven, St Brides and Marloes Sands. Inland you can visit the county town of Haverfordwest - Here you will find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. It also boasts a historic castle which was built around 1120. Guests can enjoy the area, the cottage and the surrounding four-acre estate. This is a perfect spot for a getaway from it all break. Ideal for families, walkers and couples looking to explore the coast. A short walk away, down a peaceful wooded lane is Sandy Haven beach. At high tide you can kayak up the estuary, taking in the amazing bird life and fishery nearby and at low tide, families love crabbing off the footbridge into the shallow clear waters. Sandy Haven is nestled between Milford Haven and Dale, connected by the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The cliffs and coastal path also provide stunning views and the chance to see a wide variety of beautiful wildflowers. Dale is an unspoilt village in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Sailing lessons and water sports fun can be arranged at the nearby Dale Yacht Club. Milford Haven is one of the world's deepest natural harbours and has been used as a port since the Middle Ages. The waterfront marina is an excellent spot for relaxing in one of the bars and restaurants or wandering the independent shops. You will not be stuck for things to do with a bowling alley, maritime activities and heritage museum, children's play centre and the Torch Theatre to keep everyone entertained.
