Bay Cottage is a lovely Welsh stone cottage sleeping four, set in a quiet, secluded spot but within walking distance of the beach at Little Haven. Bay is one of ten cottages converted from traditional stone-built barns, together known as Woodlands Farm. Little Haven is a small, picturesque village, and the beach is reached in about 10 minutes via a pleasant woodland path. The woodland walk may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. The village itself is full of interest, with a cafe, a local produce and craft shop, a boat trip and hire shop, and three welcoming public houses. At high tide, Little Haven Beach is a sheltered and relatively shallow spot for paddling or launching a Kayak or SUP to explore the small bay. When the tide is out, plenty of rock pools and a beautiful walk are revealed across the sands to Broad Haven. The coast path towards Deer Park leads to views of many isolated coves and inlets, with plenty of wildlife to spot, including baby seals in the pupping season. An old slipway leads onto the beach, where children can investigate rock pools and adults laze in the sun. It is also used by boating enthusiasts who moor their boats above the high water mark. A delightful woodland trail takes you down into the village within minutes and from here you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The village boasts several pubs serving great coffee and excellent food, plus a couple of galleries. There is an idyllic bay and beach in the village and the magnificent sands of Broad Haven are easily accessible at low tide. There’s something for everyone in the area which makes this a fab spot for a family holiday. Some might enjoy wandering around the shops in Haverfordwest, while the more adventurous might try coasteering, cycling or kayaking. Little Haven nestles in a quiet cove in the southern corner of St. Brides Bay in Pembrokeshire and is undoubtedly one of the most delightful seaside villages in Wales. Maple Cottage is a stone-fronted farm storehouse which has been imaginatively rebuilt to form a spacious and comfortable holiday home. It is situated less than 10 minutes’ woodland walk from the sea, above the Pembrokeshire village of Little Haven. Maple Cottage is great for both summer and winter holidays; an ideal base for many activities including walking, water sports, bird watching and sightseeing. Located in an old farmyard converted into a collection of holiday cottages, it has the most secluded position in the corner of the site. The holiday complex is in a quiet, secluded area with no through traffic. Maple cottage has been approved under the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes. In the village, renowned for its beauty, are three pubs serving excellent food, a café, craft shop, art gallery and the lovely “Lobster and Mor” which sells just that!!!. The village is on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path – miles of exciting walking and superb coastal scenery in both directions.
