Island's View Studio is situated just over 2 miles from Amroth in Pembrokeshire. The studio adjoins the owners' detached bungalow which has its own entrance and is self-contained.. Take a seat outside in the garden whilst taking in the glorious views overlooking the sea and Caldey Island. Amroth is a charming village and has quickly become a very popular holiday destination for families and couples. Amroth is the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path making it a popular destination for walkers. Amroth is home to a beautiful and sandy Blue Flag beach which has dog restrictions to the central and western areas of the beach during the summer months between 1st May to 30th September, however the eastern end remains dog friendly all year round. Additionally, there are many wonderful sandy beaches and numerous places of interest within easy reach of the cottage. A short drive from Island View Studio you can find the bustling market town of Narberth which has charming independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Or, if you are looking to explore more of Pembrokeshire’s finest beaches, Saundersfoot and Tenby are very close by. Saundersfoot is a perfect place for swimming, sunbathing and even paddle boarding. Whilst Tenby is known for its picturesque colourful houses, four stunning beaches and fun boat trips to spot some seals or a trip to the beautiful monastery island of Caldey. Pen-y-Bont is a lovely cottage for two set in 4 acres of mature gardens near Amroth on Pembrokeshire's south coast, and is an excellent base for exploring this beautiful county. The single storey cottage is adjacent to the main house, but self-contained with its own patio and parking area. The accommodation has been specially adapted for wheelchair users and offers many excellent features to ensure your comfort. The busy little town of Narberth is only ten minutes away. With its unique range of shops - antiques, craft, quality clothing, cafes and restaurants - it’s a shopping experience with a difference. The sandy beaches of Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot are all in close proximity. Amroth is the nearest beach area and it is only a few minutes' car drive. For the more energetic there is a pleasant 2 mile walk down through the woods passing through Colby woodland gardens, a National Trust property. Lifts back can be arranged! Amroth is also the start of the 186 miles long Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Pembrokeshire has lots to offer to both young and old and the owners will be delighted to share their knowledge of the area with you so that you can maximize your time here and see and do things which are of particular interest to you, making your holiday special. ACCOMMODATION Pen-y-Bont sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom: 1 super king. All the accommodation is on the ground floor so may suit guests with restricted mobility, and the cottage has been specially adapted for wheelchair users. Bedroom: super king size bed (can be made up as twin beds on request) Wetroom: shower area, toilet, hand basin, Doc M pack, grab rails, shower stool, alarm system connected to the main house Open plan area with: Sitting area: 2 rise and recline armchairs, TV, DVD player available on request Kitchen area: electric hob, washing machine, fridge, microwave, sink and wall units are lower than a conventional kitchen Dining area: dining table and chairs for 2 OUTSIDE Patio with garden furniture and barbeque provided on request.
