Buzzards Watch is a delightful country cottage for two near Boncath, Pembrokeshire, accessed via a private farm track and in a group of four cottages which were originally traditional stone barns that have been converted into cosy accommodation. The cottage benefits from its own private enclosed patio and garden where you can put your feet up and take in the far-reaching views over the surrounding hills, farmland and the Teifi Valley. If you're feeling a little more energetic, you have access to over one acre of gardens, orchards and a pond which leads onto a public footpath to allow you to explore more of the area. Buzzards Watch is approximately 15 minutes away from the market town of Cardigan, with a wealth of history around the renovated castle, famous for being the first castle to be built by a Welsh man in celebration of its completion the first Eisteddfod was held there in 1176. Further afield, you have a choice of beaches. Poppit Sands is ideal for long walks or sitting in the sand dunes, whilst Mwnt Beach is ideal for picnics and is renowned for spotting dolphins. The cottage has an 'upside down' arrangement to take advantage of the superb views across the valley and to catch the evening sun. Woodpecker Barn is a charming cottage in the village of Newchapel, Pembrokeshire, down a farm track. The Cottage is one of four cottages set in natural rolling countryside with far-reaching views over the Teifi Valley. Originally built in the 1800’s the cottage has been sympathetically renovated from a traditional old stone barn to a cosy, tranquil retreat. Guests can relax on the furnished patio, look over the extensive gardens and enjoy the sounds of the wildlife on their doorstep or wander around the orchard and pond. North Pembrokeshire is a haven for walkers, bird watchers and beach lovers. The Preseli Hills are less than half an hour away and are famous for our Neolithic ancestors engaging in the seemingly impossible feat of moving blocks of Preseli Bluestone to build Stonehenge. The market town of Cardigan is only a 15-minute drive away which boast a range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
