The area offers fantastic walks along the nearby Preseli hills with incredible coastline views from the rocky peaks. To the north is Cardigan Bay, which has more remarkable sea views and dolphin watching. There are great local attractions for all ages to enjoy, which include Folly Farm Zoo, Llys y Fran reservoir, Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber, and Castell Henllys Iron Age settlement. The nearby Pantmaenog Forest is open to the public and has over 12km of walking, mountain biking and horse riding trails. Maenclochog village is 2 miles away with 2 shops, a post office, and garages, and the cottage is conveniently located for the towns of Narberth, Fishguard, Cardigan, and Haverfordwest.
