A large chalk board will keep little ones entertained, and there’s also a plinth for use with disposable BBQs. Finally, an outdoor shower allows you to wash sandy boots and paws after a day at the beach. The harbour town of Milford Haven has a bustling marina that’s packed with independent restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries – it’s the perfect place to while away a few hours, whilst admiring the boats bobbing in the water. There’s also a popular activity centre for those wishing to get out and explore via kayak or paddleboard. The charming coastal village of Dale (3.5 miles) is also well worth a visit, with its friendly Welsh pubs and dramatic coast paths. For a traditional day at the seaside, head to the family favourite of Marloes Sands (4.5 miles).
