Ty Pinc is a pretty, detached house with distant views of the Pembrokeshire coast and the sea. It stands in its own grounds, in the village of St. Nicholas, some 5 miles from Fishguard. It is also wheelchair and disabled friendly with a low threshold, wheelchair accessible entrance and a downstairs bedroom with an en suite wet room. The house is very spacious and has its own parking and garden. It features decking on the west and south sides with accessible patio doors and is just a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the famous Coast Path. The area is a favourite for walking, birdwatching, kayaking, coasteering and sightseeing, and the "Strumble Shuttle" bus service stops in the village making "round trip" walks easier to organise. Within easy driving distance are some lovely beaches such as Whitesands, Newport and Pwllgwaelod, and St. David's Cathedral is some 12 miles away. The property is a small holding with a livery yard for horses and holiday livery is also available, should you wish to bring your horse, too! This is quite separate from the holiday cottage, across the other side of a small paddock. Treseissyllt Hafod is a comfortable house within easy walking distance of the beach in a peaceful setting in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park. Located near the beaches of Aberbach and Abermawr, a private track leads down to the sea and the coast path making Treseissyllt Hafod a perfect base for both family and walking holidays. The beaches have lovely rock pools and swimming and Abermawr is well known for its surf. Originally farm stables, the building has been superbly converted retaining many of the original features. It is an exceptionally light, spacious and comfortably furnished house which has excellent drying facilities. The modern, well equipped kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the ground floor and the large first floor sitting room with a cosy wood burning stove has marvellous views across unspoilt countryside towards Garn Fawr. Its large lawn and the field beyond provide plenty of outdoor space. Tregwynt Woollen Mill and coffee shop are within walking distance and the pub at Mathry and shop at Square and Compass are 5 miles away. The shuttle buses which run along the coast road are an ideal way to explore the coast without getting in the car. Golf, kayaking, coasteering and many other activities are all available locally. A short drive will take you to St. Davids with plenty of places to eat, good shopping, many galleries and the wonderful Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. The small harbour town of Fishguard is approximately 15 minutes away and there are also galleries and a great bookshop here. The Preseli Hills are within easy reach and very popular with walkers. Bwthyn Gynon is a little gem of a cottage in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park close to Pwllderi, and Strumble Head with views to Garn Fawr, a rocky volcanic outcrop with fabulous views of the North Pembrokeshire coast. Pwllcrochan Cottage is ideal for those who want undisturbed peace and quiet with sea views in the glorious Pembrokeshire countryside. The cottage is situated 400 metres from the sea in its own 4 acre grounds which includes a small lake, on the beautiful North Pembrokeshire coast between Fishguard and St Davids. The cottage is a traditional Welsh cottage which has been extensively renovated and sits above Pwllcrochan Bay, a quarter of a mile from the nearest house. Based less than 200 metres from the main Pembrokeshire Coast Path, you can walk for miles and miles experiencing some breathtaking views and discovering some of the best wildlife along the way. Pwllcrochan Bay has an extremely private beach, access is down a rock face but there is a rope to help you and although at high tide the beach is covered, once the tide has dropped a beautiful sandy beach is exposed. For those perhaps not so brave there are a number of other coves and beaches in very close proximity. Strumble Head is close by where you will find a lighthouse and a spectacular view. The nearest large town is Haverfordwest which makes a great day out mooching around the shops and stopping at a café for coffee and cake! The cottage is surrounded by a large mainly contained garden. Beyond the garden, the grounds are a wildlife lovers' delight and include a small lake overlooking the sea which attracts many water birds and insects.
