Description

The cottage is set just behind a popular gastropub where you can enjoy an excellent meal. Heading out and over the ancient stone bridge, you will find the charming small town of Crickhowell which has a further choice of pubs and restaurants as well as walks along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. You can also explore the banks of the River Usk, or head along to the Llangattock Escarpment and the Table Mountain Path (3.5 miles). Other local attractions include Tretower Castle (8 miles), Llangorse Lake (10.5 miles) and Skirrid Fawr (12 miles). This is a fantastic area for numerous outdoor activities including climbing, walking, mountain biking and birdwatching. The bustling market town of Abergavenny is also nearby (10 miles).

On entering this bright, welcoming and cheerful holiday home you will find yourself in the cosy and peaceful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is an ideal space for you to sit back in and relax at the end of a great day, with plenty of seating and a TV so you can catch a favourite show. There’s also a dining area for you to share a family meal. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a coffee maker. Exploring the property further, there are two cosy and airy bedrooms: a double room, and a family room with a double bed and an additional single bed. The lodge also has a shower room complete with a walk-in shower and WC.

French doors lead out into a small enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. There’s also a shared lawn, as well as ample off-road parking space.
