This unique property is in the small town of Wick in the far north of Scotland in the county of Caithness. Overlooking the North Sea the town has a fascinating history dating back to the Viking era when it was an important trading post. The town is also popular for outdoor enthusiasts with numerous walking trails and cycling routes. The Caithness coastline is known for its rugged beauty and beautiful beaches such as Dunnet Bay (20 miles) Keiss Beach (8 miles) & Reiss Sands (4 miles) where visitors can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the surrounding countryside from vantage points such as Noss Head Lighthouse (4.5 miles). One of the most prominent landmarks in the town is the Old Pulteney Distillery which produces some of the finest whisky in Scotland. The distillery is located on the banks of the Wick River and has been in operation since 1826. Entering the main front door of the property leads you into the spacious traditional period hallway with the ground floor offering 2 downstairs bedrooms and a lounge with a wood burner for cosy nights in there is also a shower room with a spacious shower & WC. The luxury fitted kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook up a fabulous meal together. Enjoy long dinners with a glass or two of wine. The utility room is located next to the kitchen. There are two bedrooms upstairs both with ensuite facilities. You can access the patio area via the glass door from the kitchen area. A lovely area to sit out if you like to take your time in the morning with a coffee and breath in the fresh morning air. There is a designated parking area for three cars. Storage is available for your bikes golf clubs or other sports equipment. A BBQ is also available.
